My process mapping and process improvement background has developed through a number of different frameworks and methodologies, including ITIL, CMMI, and Lean Six Sigma. Much of this effort has been focused on improving project management and information technology related workflows.
I have a very strong aptitude for analysis and problem solving. In keeping with Lean Six Sigma philosophy, I always start any project by working with the stakeholders to specifically define what business problem we're trying to solve (and then translating this into measurable objectives). I have an excellent background in data analysis and metrics - including practical use of statistical methods. I've mapped out numerous workflows over the years and have acquired very strong Visio skills as a result. I have an excellent knowledge of MS Office applications, especially Excel, Access, and Powerpoint. For statistical analysis, I've used Minitab.
